Nov 18, 2018  Hi all, I'm trying to find the QUICK ANALYSIS tool in my Excel on mac version 15.14. I can't seem to find it. I have the data analysis tool but this in NOT what i'm looking for. I will use PC (Windows) and Excel 2007, as will the class labs will use PC. ADDING-IN THE DATA ANALYSIS TOOLPACK TO EXCEL. Statistical analysis such as descriptive statistics and regression requires the Excel Data Analysis add-in. The default configuration of Excel does not automatically support descriptive statistics and regression analysis.

It can be hard to get a lot of meaning out of numbers in a worksheet. But Excel provides a bunch of ways to quickly analyze your data using conditional formatting. For example, you can use a color scale to differentiate high, medium, and low temperature values.

Here’s how you can quickly apply this type of formatting:

1. Start by selecting your data. The Quick Analysis button appears on the lower-right corner of the selection.

2. Click the Quick Analysis button , or press Ctrl+Q.

3. On the Formatting tab, move your mouse over the different options to see a Live Preview on your data, and then pick the formatting you like best.

• To remove any conditional formatting, click Clear Format in the Quick Analysis gallery.

• For additional formatting options and colors, select your data, and then click Home > Conditional Formatting.
